The Conductor and The Clown
The Conductor and The Clown is a highly entertaining orchestral concert for children. A serious concert presenting works by Mozart, Beethoven, Grieg and Khachaturian is disrupted by an accidental visitor to the stage. Is the clown inadvertently disturbing the sanctity of the concert platform or is he being wilfully mischievous? Will he and the conductor remain enemies or find a way to reconcile their musical differences? Many children in the past have laughed out loud finding out, much to the conductor’s chagrin! The concert has played to sold-out audiences by many orchestras in the past including the Sydney Opera House Proms Orchestra, the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and for Monkey Baa Theatre Productions.
